Thomas á Kempis Quote

Love feels no burden, thinks nothing of trouble, attempts what is above its strength, pleads no excuse of impossibility; for it thinks all things lawful for itself, and all things possible.

Never be entirely idle; but either be reading, or writing, or praying or meditating or endeavoring something for the public good.

Thomas á Kempis Quote

"To think of oneself as nothing, and always to think well and highly of others is the best and most perfect wisdom. Wherefore, if you see another sin openly or commit a serious crime, do not consider yourself better, for you do not know how long you can remain in good estate. All men are frail, but you must admit that none is more frail than yourself. "

Thomas á Kempis Quote

What difference does it make to you what someone else becomes, or says, or does? You do not need to answer for others, only for yourself.

All men commend patience, although few are willing to practice it.

WELCOME TO MY SITE MY FRIEND!

2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

With life going in the direction it is going all over the world, this should be an indication to us as to why none of us has the power to make or keep America Great unless God is in the midst. Sadly, God who is our true solution, is on the decline even in the Church. Although some of us idolize the so-called evangelicals’ leaders, but like God showed me, the majority of them are either not with Him or are in need to buy gold from Him. (See Revelation 3:18)

Now, it does not matter what or who you believe in, the truth mentioned above does not change. Casing point, every time we put our trust in a democrat, liberal, conservative or republican kind of leaders to rescue us, we find in the end all we end up with is, resistance, blame, chaos, & more godlessness, while America is being dismantled slowly. It is like a beautiful tower standing tall, while the bricks and materials that makes it so beautiful and majestic are being pulled one by one from inside, at the bottom of the very pillars that it stands on. So, right now, while we are busy with our tribalism way which is found inside and outside the Church just like it is in the world, America is being gutted.

There is no question that we find solace in our divisions. Just like sex, it sells well, makes headlines, and goes viral on the internet. Now, we have a king, sorry, a president who wants people to kiss his ring and bow down to him or he cuts you down to your knees. This does not mean we have to hate Donald Trump or worship him either. “ THE MAN IS GIFTED WHEN IT COMES TO BRINGING THE WORSE OUT OF ANYTHING AND ANYONE. I know, because for a little while, I almost forgot who I am in Him. Like the Bible says, we have the leaders we deserve! If only those so-called Christians leaders along with the Evangelicals leaders could keep their noses out of Donald Trump's butt just for a moment. If only the Church could understand what it means to love God with the Agape love that He deserves, not that sentimental and emotional and empty kind of love we know. If only we could stop finding our fix for the day in what separates us instead of what brings us together. If only Christianity was in a better shape. IF ONLY…

Revelation 3: 18 “I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. In His Agape Love, M.J. Andre

Protect us from the wily foe Who seeks to harm our souls, we know. Be Thou our shield, our staff, and stay, Lord Jesus Christ, for this we pray.

EXHORTATION TO PRAYER

Arise, dear soul, and carefully reflect who He is with whom thou speakest and before whom thou standest when thou prayest. Behold, thou speakest with God, thy Maker, and standest in the presence of Him, the eternal Majesty, whom thousand times thousand holy angels and arch-angels attend. Therefore, O Christian, enter thou into the closet of thy soul, and beware, lest thou failest to put from thee all sluggishness of heart, and liftest up to thy God a countenance free from blame. Then wilt thou delight in the Lord and have power with Him, and prevail. Yea, thou wilt conquer the unconquerable God and bear away the blessing through Jesus Christ. Amen.

BROKEN CISTERNS

Why is it so important to us to have the approval of other people when in reality they will not matter in our lives once we leave this world? Are we so broken & deluded that we have become blinded, deaf, & completely deprived of common sense & critical thinking ability to the point where we would allow ourselves to find satisfaction in being led by vile & empty hearted beings?

Jeremiah 2:13  "For My people have committed two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, to hew for themselves cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water."!

  • BECOMING THE PERSON GOD CREATED YOU & ME, TO BE! It takes work, commitment & a willingness not to follow the crowd like a herd. JOIN ME & let's pray for each other....Let's pray together.

  • “As long as you live, you will be subject to change, whether you will it or not - now glad, now sorrowful; now pleased, now displeased; now devout, now undevout; now vigorous, now slothful; now gloomy, now merry. But a wise man who is well taught in spiritual labor stands unshaken in all such things, and heeds little what he feels, or from what side the wind of instability blows.” ― Thomas à Kempis, The Imitation of Christ

  • “God hath thus ordered it, that we may learn to bear one another’s burdens; for no man is without fault, no man without his burden, no man sufficient of himself, no man wise enough of himself; but we ought to bear with one another, comfort one another, help, instruct, and admonish one another.” ― Thomas à Kempis, The Imitation of Christ

  • “I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best.” – Marilyn Monroe

  • “Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: “What! You too? I thought I was the only one.” – C.S. Lewis

  • “To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.” ― C.S. Lewis, The Four Loves

  • “I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.” ― C.S. Lewis

  • “If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.” ― C.S. Lewis

  • “Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of - throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself.” ― C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

  • “To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you.” ― C.S. Lewis

  • “I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God. That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic — on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg — or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God, but let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.” ― C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

THE LORD'S PRAYER

Our Father, who art in heaven; Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; Give us this day our daily bread; And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil; For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen
